For most postcodes, we’ll send you an estimated timeslot or tracking information the day before your storage collection date.​If your driver hasn’t arrived between your estimated timeslot, this may mean there has been an unexpected delay.​ Please reach out to us for more information.

Can I reschedule my collection or make changes to my order?

Tell us of any changes. You can change your storage Collection time and details up to 24 hours before your storage Collection. If you reschedule or cancel your storage Collection after 24 hours, there’ll be a 50% charge, as we’ll have already scheduled your driver to Collect at your address. In addition, you will then need to place a new order and will be charged again for the new storage Collection.​

Where can you collect my stuff from?

We can collect your stuff from any mainland UK address; be it your home address, a business address or your student halls of residence.

Make sure you input your complete address and a correct postcode the first time to ensure a successful storage collection. It can also greatly help if you let us know if your house is in a gated community and your driver will need to use the buzzer to get entrance, or if you'll be leaving your possessions with a concierge or in reception. Our storage collection service includes collection from any floor. Please make sure your stuff is packed.

Will there be a charge if my collection can't be made?

If your driver is unable to collect your items due to incomplete or inaccurate address information, or if you are not at home when the driver arrives, you will have to request a new storage collection, and you'll be billed for it again

Please double-check that your address is correct, including the correct postcode, so that your storage collection would be successful the first time. Please include any specific collection guidelines that may assist us in locating your address. If you've requested us to collect your belongings from reception, make sure you have their permission first and that someone will be present to hand them over.If your driver is unable to reach you within the window due to unexpected circumstances, we will reschedule your storage collection to the same address free of charge cost to you. Although delays are particularly unusual, they do occur. please be advised we recommend having your belongings collected at least two working days before you leave the country. If your driver is compelled to wait for more than 10 minutes for any reason, you will be invoiced for the time spent by the driver.

What's the difference between Collection vs. Packing & Collection?

Storage Collection only - you are expected to pack your items into boxes to be ready to go. When it comes to furniture, you are expected to disassemble all items before we arrive — however, we will professionally wrap it to ensure it’s protected. Any items that do not follow the above Collection-only guidelines can be upgraded to Storage Collection & Packing and are subject to an hourly labour rate.

With Storage Collection & Packing, your pickup can be truly effortless. Our team will bring a variety of complimentary packing materials. We’ll pack your items into boxes and professionally wrap your furniture to ensure it’s protected. We can move items from anywhere in your collection location to load them into the truck. It’s up to you how much you want to prepare before we arrive!

How long will the team work for?

The length of time Stackt movers will be present on the property is dependent on the service you require. During long shifts (4 hours + ), the team has the right to take a food break for 45 minutes.

What happens during a Stackt collection?

Stackt's skilled movers will wrap all of your chosen belongings and furniture for storage during collection. Furthermore, the loading process will be carried out in the safest manner possible before items are placed into the vehicle. Items that require extra handling will be wrapped to protect them and keep them clean during the move and storage process.

To preserve your house and other belongings, our movers will only handle items that were specified to be stored with Stackt.

What do I need to do before a Stackt Collection?

Please be present for the whole storage collection window to ensure that your collection goes well.
Your storage collection might happen at any point throughout the timeframe you specified. This implies that storage collection might happen at any point within the 3 hours. You must be present at the collection address at this time or authorize someone else, such as a receptionist, to receive your items on your behalf. Our customer care representative will contact you the evening before the storage collection. Moreover, for the safety of your belongings during transit, we highly recommend that all your items are packed in traditional boxes.

At least 24 hours before your pickup, make sure to unplug and dry any major appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners, and washers. It is your responsibility to ensure any objects that require specialized equipment to disassemble are disassembled ahead of time.

You will have to take extra steps to prepare if you select Storage Collection only (without the Packing option).

What materials will Stackt bring for my collection?

Stackt will always wrap and protect furniture and large valuables, as well as supply all necessary equipment to keep them safe throughout transportation and storage. Stackt provides moving blankets and other protective materials to safeguard furniture and other bulky objects. If you select the packing option, Stackt will also bring moving boxes and packing supplies to pack smaller items. Stackt packers will bring a variety of boxes, packing paper and bubble wrap.
