The headline unit price is decided by location, size and how long the introductory offer lasts. The final bill is decided by what is added on top. These are the levers that matter.
The same unit can cost twice as much in Zone 1 as in Zone 4. Operators price each store on local land values, so the cheapest walk-in unit is usually the one furthest from you, which means a longer drive each time. Stackt charges one price across London because the storage sits in our warehouse, not on your high street.
Units come in fixed sizes, so a room of furniture that needs 30 sq ft is sold the 50 sq ft unit. Stackt measures what your items occupy after collection and bills the closest plan, moving you down if you take things out.
Insurance, a padlock, a deposit or admin fee and two van trips typically add £100 or more over a short stay. Stackt includes basic cover, has no deposit or padlock, and quotes collection up front. Our per-item rate starts at £1.92/week if you only have boxes.
