What are the prohibited items that Stackt will not Store and/or Move?

Accepted Answer

Unless previously agreed upon in writing, Stackt does not accept for storage and/or moving any goods that fall under the following categories:
      
        Birds, fish, animals or any other living creature.
        Explosives, weapons or ammunition.
        Combustible or flammable materials, liquids or compressed gases, including but not limited to, diesel, petrol, oil, gas, artificial fertilizer or cleaning solvents.
        Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents.
        Toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a dangerous nature.
        Any other toxic, flammable or hazardous substance or preparations, classified as such under any applicable law.
        Goods which require special license or government permission for export or import.
        Medical needles unless properly protected in appropriate containers.
        Any item which emits any fumes, smell or odour.
        Goods which are environmentally harmful or that are a risk to the property of any person.
        Stolen goods, drugs or pornographic material.
        Jewelry, furs, wines, spirits, watches, tobacco, cigars, cigarettes, trinkets, precious stones or metals, cash and the like, bullion, deeds, securities, mobile telephones, portable media and computing devices, stamps, coins, or goods or collections of any similar kind, prepaid phone cards and similar, bonds, fine art.
      
      Stackt will accept for moving, but will not store any goods that fall under the following categories:
      
      Bottled and sealed household cleaners.
      Sharp knives or other kitchen implements ONLY IF blade is fully protected with a suitable material.
      All perishable goods and on-perishable food ONLY IF packed and sealed.
      Liquids and semi-liquid foods in glass container.
      Specialized equipment with electronic and/or fragile components.
      Portable battery chargers, power banks or any similar portable power source.
      E-Scooters, E-Bikes, E-Skateboards or any similar battery-powered vehicles.
      Laptops, tablets, children's toys or other similar items containing built-in batteries.
      Any Goods which are contaminated with food or any other substance which may deteriorate, rot, become mouldy or attract vermin.
      Plants.

Can I store stuff other than boxes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can offer storage services for any other item you wish as long as it complies with our prohibited items list.

Question 3

Do you store bikes?

Accepted Answer

You are able to book a storage service for your bike, however it is recommended that it is packed in an appropriate bike box for its own safety.

Question 4

Do you store books?

Accepted Answer

Yes we can provide storage services for books. However, please note that all books must be packed into a box and their weight should not exceed 25kgs. Furthermore, as books are not very sturdy, we recommend adding a layer of padding to eliminate the possibility of accidental damage to the books during the move.

Do you store clothes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can provide storage services for clothing. However, please note that all clothes must be packed into a box and their weight should not exceed 25kgs.

Do you store furniture?

Accepted Answer

Yes we offer storage services for furniture. However, when you choose the Collection only service you are expected to disassemble (if needed) all items and furniture before we arrive.

Question 7

Do you store suitcases and other luggage?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We offer storage services for suitcases as well. However, make sure the total weight is no more than 25kgs. Please note that all suitcases must be packed and closed in order for us to handle them.
