Access prices each store separately and quotes once you have entered your details, so there is no list to compare. The SSA UK Annual Industry Report 2024 puts the London average at £38.80 per sq ft per year (ex VAT), about £90/month for 25 sq ft and £181/month for 50 sq ft, with VAT added, before cover; central stores sit above that. Stackt charges one London price, per week, for the space your items actually take up.
Access's current offer is: 50% off for up to 8 weeks for new customers (up to 13 weeks at some stores, e.g. Fulham Broadway). After the offer, the standard rate applies, and operators can review prices during your stay. Stackt discounts work the other way round: the longer you stay, the less you pay, with 25% off on a monthly term and 40% off on 6+ months, fixed for your booking.
A unit needs a van to fill and a van to empty. Even a single hired van with fuel and a few hours of your time comes to £60–£80 each way in London, so two trips can cost more than a month of storage. Stackt collects from your door (quoted up front) and delivers back everything or just the items you need.
