Uprights and digital pianos are collected by two movers with a piano trolley and straps, wrapped before they move. Our removals teams move upright pianos as part of house moves.

Basic cover up to £100 per item and £10,000 in total is included; extended cover for a valuable instrument is available when you book.
The piano is photographed at collection and listed in your online inventory with everything else you store, so you can book its return in a couple of clicks.

Moved as a large fragile item. We recommend the original box or a padded keyboard bag if you have one; otherwise the team wraps it. Stand and pedals travel separately.
The standard case: 200–300 kg, moved on a piano trolley by two people from a ground floor or via a lift. Stairs at either address need to be told to us at booking so we can plan the team.
Quoted individually. Grands are moved on their side on a skid board with the legs and lyre removed, which takes specialist kit and a bigger team. Send us the model and the access details and we will confirm whether and how we can take it.
Chosen tariff is not final and may be adjusted based on actual space required in our facility. The tariff does not include the fee for packing, collection, and delivery.
