For all moving and storage orders, our movers are instructed to load and unload by themselves to any floor level. If you require additional help with packing, adding this option to your order would be the best suited for you.

For all moving and storage orders you will receive a 2-hour time slot for arrival of the team. You will additionally be sent a tracking link via SMS to follow the location of the team. Once the team arrives, they will also contact you through the phone number we have on file when you made the enquiry (unless instructed otherwise by you).

Yes, for all packing orders, either you or a representative of yours must be present at the property throughout the packing process. You must inform us in writing prior to the service commencing if a representative of yours will attend rather than yourself.

Please note that Stackt has liability in place for each box and piece of furniture to be covered up to £100 against theft and damage for both moving and storage services. We don't provide coverage for fragile items like glassware or crockery and electronic items like TVs, laptops and printers.
In addition, we do not cover:
Any prohibited items - (see ‘Are there any items Stackt does not store?’).
Damage caused by the inclusion of liquids, perishable goods or any of the prohibited items listed.
Electrical or mechanical damage to any appliance, instrument, clock, computer or other equipment unless there is evidence of related external damage.
For any goods which have a pre-existing defect or are inherently defective.
Fragile items that are not able to be packed into boxes, such as mirrors, frames, lamps, or artwork such as sculptures and paintings.
Passports, credit or debit cards or important documents (including passports, tenders, share and option certificates).
Jewellery, watches, trinkets, precious stones or metals.
Fragile items such as crockery that have not been adequately packaged inside a box with sufficient bubble wrap or packing paper.
Items not packed into double-walled cardboard boxes (excluding furniture items that can’t fit inside a box).

When ordering a moving service, if your driver is unable to move your items due to incomplete or inaccurate address information, or if you are not at home when the driver arrives, you'll have to request a new move, and you'll be billed for it again. Please double-check that your address is correct, including the correct postcode, so that your move would be successful the first time. Please include any specific moving guidelines that may assist us in locating your address. If you've requested us to collect your belongings from reception, make sure you have their permission first and that someone will be present to hand them over. If your driver is unable to reach you within the moving window due to unexpected circumstances, we will reschedule your move to the same address free of charge. Although delays are particularly unusual, they do occur. We recommend having your belongings moved at least two working days before you plan on leaving the country. If your driver is compelled to wait for more than 15 minutes for any reason, you will be invoiced for the time spent by the driver if it leads to the overall job time to increase.

For all moving orders, Stackt will always protect furniture and large valuables by using moving blankets to keep them safe throughout the moving. If you select the packing option, Stackt will also bring moving boxes and packing supplies to pack smaller items. Stackt packers will bring a variety of boxes, packing paper and bubble wrap.

Please be present for the whole moving window to ensure that your moving goes well. Your move might happen at any point throughout the timeframe you specified. This implies that moving might happen at any point within the 2-hour time window. You must be present at the collection address at this time or authorise someone else, such as a receptionist, to receive your items on your behalf. We must be informed in writing if another individual who is not you was delegated to accept the items and/or provide access to the property on your behalf. Moreover, for the safety of your belongings during transit, we highly recommend that all your items are packed in traditional boxes. Tell us of any changes in a timely manner. You can change your moving time and details up to 24 hours before your booking. You will be charged for last minute cancellations. In addition, you will then need to place a new order and will be charged again for the new move. Please strip any mounted goods from the walls, such as TVs or artwork. At least 24 hours before your pickup, make sure to unplug and dry any major appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners, and washers. It is your responsibility to ensure any objects that require specialised equipment to disassemble are disassembled ahead of time. You will have to take extra steps to prepare if you select Moving only (without the Packing option).

If choosing the Moving & Packing option - Stackt's movers will wrap all of your chosen belongings and furniture for the move. If choosing the Moving option only - Stackt movers will load items onto the vehicle and unload them at the desired destination. Furthermore, the loading process will be carried out in the safest manner possible before items are placed into the vehicle. Items that require extra handling will protect with moving blankets during the moving process. To preserve your house and other belongings, our movers will only handle items that were specified to be moved with Stackt.

For all moving services, we can move your stuff from any mainland UK address; be it your home address, a business address or your student halls of residence. Make sure you input your complete address and a correct postcode the first time to ensure a successful move. It can also greatly help if you let us know if your house is in a gated community and your driver will need to use the buzzer to get entrance, or if you'll be leaving your possessions with a concierge or in reception. Our moving service includes collection from and delivery to any floor.

Yes. That's not an issue if you're on the go. We'll send your items to any location on the mainland of the United Kingdom, including your home, office, or student housing. There are a few places where we can't deliver, such as airports and railway stations. All we require is a residential or commercial location, a postcode, and, someone to accept your delivery once the moving service commences.

That depends entirely on how much you anticipate moving! You'll inform us more about your space and what you want to relocate when you obtain a quote. Your quotation will include an estimate of the number of movers and vehicles needed to assist you, according to your specific needs. If you believe the number of movers granted is too high or too low for any reason, please contact us to amend your price and requirements.

Your move will be charged at an hourly rate with a two-hour minimum time requirement. If your relocation takes one hour, for example, you will be charged for the 2-hour minimum. The hourly rate is determined by the number of movers required for your specific move. The larger the relocation, the more movers are necessary.
