Is it one man and a van, or two?

At least two. Small and 1-bedroom moves come with two movers and a van; 2 and 3-bedroom moves come with three or four movers and a second van where needed. One mover with a van means you are the other mover, so we never send one.

How quickly can I book a man and van?

Same-week slots are usually available across London, 7 days a week, and same-day or next-day is possible subject to availability. End-of-month dates go first, so book those a few days ahead.

Do I need to pack before the movers arrive?

For a standard man and van booking you pack boxes and take furniture apart; the movers wrap furniture and load everything. If you would rather not, add packing and the team brings boxes and materials and packs for you.

Are the movers insured?

Yes. Every mover is vetted and has the legally required insurance in place before they are assigned a job, and Stackt item protection covers each box and piece of furniture up to £100 (£10,000 in total) against theft and damage. If something is damaged in our care there is a claims process and a company to call.

Can the man and van take some things into storage?

Yes. Tell us which items are not going to the new address and the same team takes them to our London facility. They are photographed into your account and delivered back whenever you want them.

Do you cover all London boroughs?

Yes, every borough inside the M25, plus moves from London to anywhere in mainland UK on a custom quote. Local pages for each borough are listed above.

What if the move takes longer than expected?

Fixed-price moves include the time a move of that size normally takes; if it runs over, the extra hour is a set rate shown before you book (for example £85 an hour on a 1-bedroom move). Hourly bookings are simply billed for the time used after the minimum.
